Finally, Aljur Abrenica (who has, since being declared as Starstruck 4’s Ultimate Hunk, developed the body to live up to the title he received) has gotten the one thing he has been aspiring for since becoming an actor – to land a lead role in a soap. Come June 29, we will be seeing this young hunk together with current onscreen partner Kris Bernal on primetime as they topbill GMA7’s newest soap opera offering entitled “All My Life”. This big career leap for Aljur was brought about by the resounding success of their loveteam’s recently concluded afternoon soap “Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?” which consistently garnered high ratings in its timeslot.
It seems that the Kapuso network has found a team up which could give rival station ABS-CBN’s Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson tandem a run for their money. This acting vehicle could be the start of the this multi-talented actor’s rise to stardom. “All My Life” premieres this Monday, June 29, 2009 as the newest addition to GMA7’s Telebabad block.

Marco Morales is back on doing what he does best – showing his acting prowess while disrobing in front of the camera. And as in most of his movies, he shows his family jewels in his latest film, “Big Night”. In the said indie flick, Marco plays the role of a “torero” who does acts-which-should-be-done-in-private before an enthralled audience. Although laden with controversy, the film’s plot is really simple – it revolves around the preparations for a “big night presentation” of a club of ill-repute. It essentially delves on the lives of people who peddle their wares to make ends meet, however, the director gives it a new flavor which makes the movie worth watching.
Marco shares the limelight in this film with Jaycee Parker, Althea Vega, Lorraine Lopez and comebacking actor Jordan Herrera. “Big Night” is directed by Alejandro “Bong” Ramos (of “Haw Ang” and “Butas” fame) and it opens on June 24, 2009 in the following theaters: Robinson’s Galeria, Roben, Cinerama, Remar, Gotesco Grand Central, Robinson’s Ermita, Gotesco Ortigas and Ultra-Vista in Cebu. “Big Night” is produced by Leo Films.

And as the plot suggests, the movie involves scenes which require him to bare some skin. In an interview, Marco said that he had no qualms in exposing a bit of himself for the indie flick, however quips that those scenes should not be the only reason why people should watch his latest film.
