Ang Gusto Ko Sa Lalaki is a sexy comedy produced by Starlight Films in the early part of the year 2000. It got its title from one of the lines in Mystica’s first single, “Simple Lang”. It featured the male boldie newcomers Marco Alejandro, Martin Gonzalo and Joshua Diaz. It also had in its supporting cast Mystica, Via Veloso, Stella L, Pamela Ortiz and Allen Dizon. Joshua Diaz was introduced to Philippine showbiz through German Moreno’s star discovery show, “D.A.T.S.” which replaced “That’s Entertainment”. In the show, he was paired up with the still wholesome Aubrey Miles and was made to sing, dance and act together with his other co-starlets. Due to the star potential which his manager saw in him, he was immediately cast in another teen-oriented show in GMA7 entitled “Click”. But shortly thereafter, he was removed from the show because of his entry into the bold bandwagon – through Ang Gusto Ko Sa Lalaki. This was his first and last movie. Martin Gonzalo was a model before he was lured into the showbiz arena.
