James Zablan used to play for the varsity basketball team of the FEU Tamaraws, but failed to make it to the the professional league. However, this did not deter him from stepping into the limelight. He took the alternative course of basketball players who do not make it to the big league – modelling.

To get a jumpstart into the fashion scene, he joined MTV Fashionista’s Best Model of the World Search, and graced fashion shows left and right since then. With his towering height, great physique and unconventional profile, he became one of the most sought after models around the metro. Currently, he is one of the finalists for Century Tuna Superbods 2007.
