Anton Bernardo was one of the more popular male boldies during the late 1990s. He was one of the few male starlets who were able to make names for themselves (the others were John Apacible, Leonardo Litton, Jay Manalo, and Rodel Velayo). The most daring sexy actor of his time; he was the first to show his pubes during pictorials and set the trend on how sexy male photoshoots are done today. His controversial demeanor during pictorials and interviews earned him the title “Pubes King” because he had no qualms in showing off his pubes to the public. This fact and his candidness in answering naughty questions made him a favorite interviewee of gay showbiz reporters. Despite of the fact that he was a household name, he just appeared in a little over 10 movies, most of which were bold. Some of them were: Kesong Puti, Anakan Mo Ako, Saranggani, Red Diaries, Bedtime Stories, and who could forget Sa Paraiso Ni Efren? When the interest for bold movies dwindled, his career suffered the same fate. But we won’t forget him. He was the object of every gay Pinoy guy’s fantasy during his prime.

anton bernardo! now here’s one guy who may not be conventionally handsome, but who oozes with raw sex appeal! absolutely hot! you can actually see “lust” spelled out all over his face when he romances the camera. too bad he faded out of the scene.
