Carlo Maceda was the grand prize winner of the first ever Mossimo Bikini Summit which was held buy diet pills in Boracay in 2002. Since then, the said competition has become an annual summer event in the country. After winning in the said competition, several projects came his way. He was signed in to model for Bench fashion shows in 2002. In the same year, he was also introduced into acting via the movie, “Mano Po”, where he played a very important role. His debut into the bold genre was with the movie “Sukdulan” (pics featured below). The MBS competition was a big help in boosting his career. Wanting to broaden his versatility, he also went into theater via the musical, All About Men, where he was a part of its first run. Aside from opening doors for Carlo, the 2002 event has also produced other notable personalities such as Randolph Stamatelaky, Eddie Mendez, Douglas Robinson (MBS 2002 2nd Runner Up) and Jordan Herrera (MBS 2002 1st Runner Up). Noteworthy trivia: This controversial hunk once admitted to the fact that his father is a Catholic Priest. Another controversy he got involved in was when he eloped with his Maid In Heaven co-star Aleck Bovick (who recently bore his child).
