Our model for this post is Reyson Yap. He was grand winner of the first season of ABS-CBN and Unilever’s co-production, “Close-Up To Fame”. This Davao City native and management degree holder from Ateneo de Davao University dazzled the judges with his cute smile to bring home the grand prize and a modelling contract with Close Up.

Son of a lawyer dad and an accountant mom, Reyson followed a career path which is very much different from that of his parents – he went into modelling. After his stint with Close Up, he bulked up a bit and joined the Mossimo Bikini Summit. Although we didn’t win any of the major prizes (Jerome Ortiz won that year, with Hermann Weber as his first runner up), it was a good exposure for himself and a statement that he does not only possess a pretty face but a gorgeous bod as well.

I hope this guy goes a bit more daring in his future projects, like what his fellow contestant in “Close Up To Fame”, Kris Martinez did.
