Jason Fulgencio: Making Waves

This is my second feature on Jason. (Click Here for the first one) Hair Color: Dark Brown One of Mapua Institute of Technology’s best contributions to the modelling industry is Jason Love Fulgencio or simply Jason Fulgencio. His string of TV commercials includes lead role for Coca Cola and support for San Mig Light in 2003, lead for Penshoppe (2004) and Kentucky Fried Chicken (2006) and support for Close Up’s “Lovapalooza.” He also appeared in a recent commercial for Knorr. Being a look-alike of Ira Cruz, one of the guitarists of local band Bamboo, he said, “is an advantage because Bamboo not only plays good music, the members also project a positive image.” At present, he is one of the more recognizable models in Manila’s Fashion Circuit and has graced many a fashion show. This product of modeling competitions is surely making waves as opposed to his contemporaries from Mossimo Bikini Grand Prix Jerome Ortiz, Hermann Weber and Paul Gomez Tumulak; and from Mr. Philippines World 2007 Emmanuel Mago and Claude Jean Bocquet who are merely making ripples in the biz. |
