Haroun Morales: Enjoying His Stay In Sunny California

Haroun Morales is my friend rddantes’ favorite among the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007 male candidates. (rddantes goes for guys who are way younger than he is. :p) Well, back to Haroun. This 22-year old Las Piñero graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Management at the De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Campus. As a result of joining the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007, he has received tons of modelling offers. However, shy boy Haroun chose to take some time off to vacation in Downey, California. Apparently, he’s enjoying his stay in sunny California, thus, he put on some weight. He has shed off that young boy-next-door look to get that bulkier, more mature look that he has now. I think DB was just trying to illicit responses to his post so that he’d be the object of attention in this site. I don’t think Haroun “plays both sides”. At this day and age it MIGHT BE a possibility, but for now I don’t he does.

Haroun is a freelance and doesn’t have any manager right now as far as i know and if he is under Zanjoe’s manager i don’t think he will be accepted in BE BENCH … he was under Mau de leon before i think, a freelance agent …. anyway i believe he will make it to the Finals with our Lord’s Guidance

haroun was my school mate in college, he has a girlfriend from asumpcion or st. scholastica ata basta exclusive school, i doubt if haroun had a m2m encounter… he is straight! but there’s a rumor (w/c i still don’t know if its true) theres 2 gays in our university na patay na patay kay haroun and they claimed that they had touched haroun while he is drunk in a party and it was way back in 2004 or 2005, they always brags about it lalo na ngayon na visible na si haroun sa t.v., but most of us don’t believe them.

Haroun is my classmate back in High school. He is really a nice guy, disciplined, and responsible. I remember he became my seatmate back in 2nd year Higschool, became a CAT officer in our senior class, and our class president. I don’t have a wide memory about him, but he is a what you see is what you get kind of guy. Never seen him for quite awhile now. I didn’t know that he is also in CA right now. I’ve heard that he is one of the 12 finalist for Bench Model Search. Keep up the good work! And best of luck with his career.

Couldn’t help it but just want to comment. This is the net. Only ‘fools’ believe what is written without an iota of evidence but only written words coming from someone hiding behind the facade of anonymity that the internet provides. I wonder how many really believe what is being written. And if ever they do, then it only shows the level of intellect one has. We call it pea-brained, and unfortunately there’s a lot of them out there.
To both F and Jeff, don’t mind those negative postings. Although I don’t know Ron personally, I believe he’d go places by being the professional model that he should be. He will be judged not by what is written (by those who can not even reveal who they are so that they can stand by their accounts) but by his own merits and I think you know him better in that case.

Am no Ron admirer by the way, just that ’sexuality’ shouldn’t be an issue with anyone (although I am quite sure, it is for so many, including discriminating against their own - it is called internalized homophobia).
And for those who can not comprehend what am writing about and more so for those who simply can not and will not be able to grasp my ideas of ’sexuality’, your ‘judgement’ on what transpired these last few postings, actually reflects not on Ron’s character but of the reader.

Haroun is a nice guy. I don’t think he is in capable of doing such nasty things. He is my classmate for 3 consecutive years in Bloomfield Academy (high school), in BF Resort Village, Las Pinas city. I can attest that he is not into those dirty tricks.

I can not say that he is sikat despite the buzz, although we still have to see that in a few weeks. The guy is one of the contestants for a local model search. And I also do hope that he makes it as it seems he is becoming the victim here of a malicious browser. The buzz revolves around an allegation of a sexual tryst in a local gym posted ealier by this poster. Sarap sanang di patulan but am just taking the opportunity to share what could hopefully uplift the segment of gay/bi population that certainly needs to learn about RESPECT and hopefully RESPONSIBILITY, too.
Tall order you may say, but there’s no harm trying.

hi jeff! Can you tell Haroun that I said hi. I don’t know if he can still remember me but for sure if I give my last name he will definitely recognize me. Let him know that he is always in our prayers together with some of our classmates back in Highschool here in California. Its the only way for us to support him, since we don’t have anyway to vote. Its not even a part of TFC schedule. So we just find contentment on watching in youtube so we can catch up with the episodes.

Salamat. To make it clear, I did not write the things I said to get close to the guy or anyone better. I just did what is right. As I wrote earlier, I was a victim of malicious stories on the internet, too. And this is part and parcel of my advocacies. Thanks again. You sure make a damn good friend and I salute you for that. I can assure you that Ron is making really good, although some of the guys are better looking, Ron is the better model. All he needs is to gain enough confidence to shine through. And knowing that you, his family and other friends are supporting him, he surely will.

My honest take of the model search?
He will make it to the top 3 and probably may even end up the winner considering that the better looking ones aren’t that exciting. Let me explain the latter part of the statement in the next few paragraphs. Although just to qualify everything again, am not a pro on these matters. And this is my opinion.
One of the better looking guys actually looks like another of the Bench models and I can not even name one at the moment of those who made it in the biz by being a look-alike of this or that personality.
The other goodlooking guy, well he is just too pretty-looking. Unless he can morph his looks (and with that kind of pretty face, it will be very difficult), it would be boring soon.

Tell Ron to take a look at the pictures here (he definitely shines in the Vince Lopez pics). As a model, he should study them well and learn from the flaws in previous pictorials so that he’d do better for his next ones. A member of the council noted that he practiced before his shoot for that week during the first broadcast of the model search, and he should continue doing that. And enjoy!

kilala ko yan si DB aka xxxxx aka SF_hunk_WF at nwilda, dati yang pasyente sa isang psychiatric ward sa makati, nakatakas nga lang. hahahah. ganun din problema nyan dati, trying hard na makapick up sa mga gym, pag nareject, nagkaka-depression at minsan nag-attempt na nga mag-suicide. wawa naman. i remember yun last nyang sinubukan i-harass sa isang gym, dahil nireject sya, ayun kung ano ano pinagsasabi nya din para makaganti. mukhang natuluyan na ngayon. sana makahanap sya ng magaling na psychiatrist baka gumaling (pero naku, medyo malabo na yan sa tingin ko). hahaha.

yaan mo di ko na papatulan ulit dahil may topak talaga. hahaha. wala na tayo magagawa dyan. Haroun will win anyway (or atleast end up 2nd place). Just an update as i remember you don’t get to see the bebench model search on tv, last week haroun got the highest score from second or third the week before (although I missed the show except for the last part - flashing of their scores). sana tuloy tuloy na. wish him the best na lang with about a week or two to go.

Sayang first runner-up lang siya sa Be Bench. I honestly think he was more deserving to win the top prize.
A little known fact about Haroun “Ron” Morales is that he started out in the first Kouros Male Model Search in 2004. It was, I believe, his very first exposure in a modeling competition.
Ron has metamporphosed from a lanky not-so-goodlooking guy into a gorgeous hunk. Good luck Ron, I’m sure you will go places.
