Jonathan Mullally or Jon Mullally recently signed up with ABS-CBN to be launched as one of the members of the freshest batch of showbiz hopefuls, Star Magic Batch 15. Jonathan Mullally, by the way, now goes by the name Jon Avila.

More info on Jon: He is half-Filipino and half-Irish and was born in Stratford, East London. He stands 6’3″ and has emerald eyes which is in sharp contrast with his ebony tresses. He took up Business at Chelmsford College.

He came back to the Philippines to do a series of modelling stints and has, since, been a popular fixture in fashion shows in and out of the metro. But did you know that this 2006 Century Superbods winner used to be chubby? That’s right. He was a chubby kid.

“My weight was an insecurity for me. The fact that I’m the only Asian around our area also added to that insecurity,” exclaimed the gorgeous model during the presscon for their launch as Star Magic 15. Jon really pushed himself to work hard to reach his desired weight. He lost 40lbs. in the process, and as a result of this, he achieved the ripped body he has today.

He doesn’t have any qualms about showing body in pictorials. For him, it is a reminder that he can achieve whatever he wants if he just focused on it.

It first health pharmacy seems that Jon could be a good role model for the youth by being the embodiment that if one puts his mind into it, he can do anything.
