Joaquin Casado: Hardworking Model

Joaquin Casado is a hunk from the Queen City of the South. He went to Manila to fulfill his dream of making a name for himself in the Philippine showbiz industry in order to help his family in his native Cebu. He ventured into modelling to kick off this dream of his and was lured into this year’s Body Heat Modelling Competition. He, along with Michael Hoo, Marco Odejar and Mike Young were the strong competitors in the said annual modelling contest and eventually it was Marco Odejar who was declared grand winner, with Joaquin as his first runner up. With his amazing performance in Body Heat, he set his sights for Mister Philippines so he could represent the Philippines in an International Competition. He, was not successful in this endeavor. He lost to eventual winners: 2nd Runner Up – Carsten Ertel; 1st Runner Up – Michael Koegel; Mr. Philippines-International Man – Nino Sazo; Mr. Philippines-International – Ian Leonel Porlayagan and Mr. Philippines-ExpoWorld – Michael Raymond Lim. During the interview portion of the competition, one of his statements struck me. He exclaimed, in an almost teary-eyed state, that he was working doubly hard in modelling in order to give his family a decent living. Doesn’t that fact make you love him even more? |

how come this guy looks REALLY appealing when he’s in trunks, but when he’s fully clothed (especially in a Tee, as in the 1st photo), he tends to look like a scruffy down-on-his-luck drifter who just got out of the hospital?

Yeah, he looks kinda inflated in the cheeks. He needs to add more pounds. Para siyang eternally puyat. Nice body though.

he looks inflated sa hirap ng buhay…i guess…naku….parang nakaka-inlove naman ang story niya…kasi he’s such a family-oriented guy…my kind of man! is there a way i can reach him? bihira lang ako maka-admire ng model as i don’t find them appealing probably because i’m stereotyped na mayabang sila….anyway, sana maka-date ko siya….

I met him in person during the Mr. Phils. he is very nice and very determined. I wish him luck. After all, he got potentials.

i very well know joaquin.. his nick name was “jj” coz his name was jesus joaquin. i know him coz his brother “jm” is my bestfrend.. honestly, he is very good looking! malayo ung looks nya d2 s picture kesa personal. maybe he is not that photogenic. but im very very sure that he is good looking in person than in this picture……

Yes, joaquin is indeed a very kind-hearted person. i knew him for quite a while now. he is not only Great looking guy outside but especially inside…This hunk is a has a big heart…i just love him so much.. miss you J…
