Kim Gantioqui: Chinito Fever Continues

Kim Gantioqui is another hunk who hails from De La Salle University - College of St. Benilde (along with Marvin Wijangco). He recently graduated and is presently connected with one of the big beverage firms in the country. Aside from being one of the 2006 Candy Cuties (along with Peiman Gomari), Kim was also one of the finalists for this year’s Mossimo Bikini Summit Search. The cute chinito shed off his wholesome and cuddly look to don that edgier almost-skinhead look he sported during the Mossimo competition. Although relatively shorter compared to the other contestants, he drew cheers from the crowd due to his attitude while walking the ramp in deconstructed shirts, jeans and swimwear. However, these cheers were not enough to land him in one of the coveted top spots. To keep himself fit, he enjoys playing basketball with his friends and working out in Gold’s Gym - Glorietta. |

not quite. needs more training on the back and mid-chest part. has to spend more time on wide-grip lat pull downs and the peckdeck machine. nipples point downwards and on opposite directions that make the chest become saggy breasts.

I accidentally saw him as a topic in a gay forum. And some guy post there that he saw Kim gazing at him in the gym, and thus have this theory that Kim is gay. I also workout in the same gym, and I did have the same (gazing) experience with him before(not bragging, but i’m also a lil bit goodlooking). I’m not into psychology or sociology, but I think there are different level of homosexuality, and I think Kim is straight with a little gay tendency. He’s the type of guy who like teasing/flirting with gay guys just to boost their ego, and prove that they are hot, I think the term is poser. And yeah, hinde ko na rin sya nakikita lately. Maybe someone told him about the talk in that forum, so nailang na at lumipat ng gym (or ng oras), bcoz ayon sa forum na yun mejo maganda ang work and reputation nya sa isang beverage company. I like him better with long hair before, he stands out sa gym (even though maraming hunks sa gym), kasi cute sya, good athletic built, smooth and fresh looking. Nung nagpasemikal, mejo nabawasan yung appeal nya, he just look the same as every other hunks sa gym na yun. But still I want him back sa gym, hihihi. Anyway, just my opinion.

To F, I know nang-aasar ka lang, but you have no idea how I look, so you can’t entire be sure kung talagang tempting nga ako :p . I still stick to my story, but as I said, I believe Kim is straight, sya yung tipong like flirting with gays, making eye contact with them, but when you try to make a move, iiwasan ka na, at parang di ka na nag-eexist. They do that just to boost their egos, parang conquest ba. But they have no real intention of having a gay relationship.

Sobrang sure ka ah, kaw ba si Kim? If 1 person said it, maaaring hinde totoo. Kung 3 or more people na, then there must be some truth about it. It’s not my fault if you didn’t experience what I experienced. Maybe it’s your mom’s fault kung bakit di sya nagfiflirt sa yo, in short bad genes. And don’t tell me na close kayo, kaya you’re so sure na hinde nya ginagawa yun, bat palagay mo aaminin nya yun sa yo. And beside, hinde ko sya sinisiraan, I’m just saying na he’s just having fun knowing that he has an effect on both sexes. What he prefer for his personal relationship, that I admit wala akong idea, but my intuition tells me he prefer straight relationships.

Oh really, well before, he works out alone around 5-7 pm, and I workout around the same time, and yeah, I know sa Gold. He got a lot of friends there, at madalas may kakwentuhan sya dun, but I never notice anyone before na gym buddy nya, na laging nakatutuk sa kanya at iniispotan sya na makakasiguro na di nya ginagawa yun. If your claiming na close kayo at sinasabi nyang d nya ginagawa yun, how can you be sure he’s telling you everything. And the fact na nandito ka, at kiniclaim mo na gym buddy ka nya then there’s a possibility half of my theory is false, the part that he is straight.

He’s quite straight and he’s strong enough to lift his own weights. What I don’t approve of are the claims that you & mallon say that he would “stare” at other guys in the gym. In doing so you end up “rolling the rumor mill” to the point wherein any PLU who comes across this or any other gay site to start speculating and even believing that he might be PLU and end up approaching him and frightening him. He may not be homophobic but he doesn’t care for any homosexual advances towards him.

Bat sinabi ko bang gay sya? As long na d ko sya nakikitang nakapatong to another guy or doing intimate things (like kissing and touching) with other guys, or openly admits it, I won’t say na gay sya. Naniniwala ako na if not everyone, atleast majority of people, gay or straight, babae o lalake, has or had a homosexual feelings, kung gaano ito ka-intense o ka-mild, and how the person deals with it, dun mo lang malalamang kung gay sya. Even a straight guy, minsan maririnig mo na nagsasabi ng “shet nakita ko si idol sa personal, ang gwapo, nakakabading”, or straight women being touchy with their female bestfriends. It doesn’t mean na gays na sila, and that is why I’m pointing out na Kim might be a poser. So don’t be sure na never nya ginawa yung sinabi ko, unless na lang kung lagi mo syang tinititigan at binabantayan, mula gym floor, toilet, locker room at shower sa gym. Ano naman mapapala ko if i’m lying. Nway, nuff said, kung papahabain natin toh, lalo lamang madidiin ang “allegedly” close friend mo.

By stating Kim’s “alledged” actions you put into the minds of lust-driven, newbie members of Golds the idea that Kim IS PLU & sooner or late they’ll be brazen enough to act! Gone were the days when Golds gym was an EXCLUSIVE, ELITE Gym but ever since it went under new management (American to Pinoy), the quality of its services & the people it attracts has dipped.
And YES, we are friends since we were in High School so that’s that!
Btw, if you’re gonna converse in Tagalog then stick to tagalog or if in english then purely english. Your grammar construction reflects the deterioration that Golds Gym is currently undergoing.

This is an informal forum, so I don’t need to be fluent with my grammar. If I’m undergoing a job interview, or addressing a formal public speech, then that will be the time, I’ll be cautious with my grammar. So what, if middle class now can afford a “used to be” exclusive gym. It’s a proof of a nation’s progress, middle class out-privileging upper class means that our nation is progressing. Bad news for aristocratic people like you, but we’re gaining numbers, and I rather see large number of middle class people sharing responsibilities and privileges in our nation, than before, only few upper classes dictating how a country should be. You can’t blame Gold’s, being a company trying to earn money, they will target a bigger demographics, and that is the middle class. And you have the freedom to go to another gym, if you beginning to think that Gold’s is deteriorating. No one is stopping you. A place with one less bigot is a better place. Are you really educated, when you even don’t know how to spell “alleged”? Dont tell me it’s typo, a typo error within a regular sentence is ok, stressing/highlighting(via quoting) a word, then having a typo on that, that’s unforgivable.

Yup, I do use that site, but as I said to check for complicated words like a one word for “WISH FULL OF THINKERS”.
I use that because I’m an imperfect person who is willing to learn and open-minded, unlike some other narrow-minded people.

I hope you have learned a lot in our spelling lesson.
My advice to you, be open-minded, learn from your mistakes. Widen your arms in meeting and knowing other people, may it be an upper, middle or lower class. From them, you’ll learn a lot of things about life, from their lives, and one most important lesson you should learn from them is humility.
Judging from your comments, you are probably some brat born with platinum-plated spoon in their mouth (which IMHO, your nanny shouldn’t have removed in the first place so that you won’t learn to talk garbage). But while you spend a lot of your father’s/mother’s money to be a VIP in some club or gym, or have the most expensive meal in GB3, you will never learn the true meaning behind these things, since you’re unaware of the hard work put out in that money, or the hard work in preparing that meal, or in the services rendered to you. To us middle class, who worked hard for that money, for us that meal in GB3 is sweeter, the pampering in that club is more worthwhile, because it’s our OWN money that we paid for that, our hard work, and we are aware of people who are doing the same thing in preparing that meal or rendering that services.
And no, I’m not working as a Call Center Agent. Lucky for me, I found a career that fully utilizes my talent and potential, and at the same time, compensates me more than enough to support my family, and even have extra to pay for an exclusice gym or eat a more than decent meal in GB3 once in a while.
Knowing you, you’ll probably want to reply on this, but bad luck for you pal, I won’t return to this forum, at least in my mind, I got the last laugh. You in the other hand, has two options, reply to this, I won’t know, and I don’t care, while you exerted a useless effort. Don’t reply, then atleast people who will read this forum will think I got the last say.
