Simon David Atkins or simply Simon Atkins is DLSU Green Archers’ Point Guard for UAAP Season 70. This 18-year old hunk who stands 5’10″ graduated from De La Salle Zobel and is currently a sophomore at De La Salle University – Manila taking up AB Psychology.

Aside from being a DLSU cager, Simon is also a part time model. He recently did a photo shoot for Hanford underwear which launched him as one of its new image models for the new brand Hanford Ice (together with Phil Younghusband). He was also featured on the cover of Chalk magazine’s special UAAP edition (together with Blue Eagles shooting guard Jeffrey Kirk Long) and was also included in Candy Magazine’s hoop hotties for this UAAP Season. Simon is one busy guy!

As you may remember, we weren’t able to see Simon and the entire Green Archers squad in action during UAAP Season 69 due to the suspension imposed by the Athletic Association caused by the player ineligibility fiasco that DLSU was involved in. I know La Salle has learned from its mistakes and is now back with a vengeance in the hardcourt.

Watch UAAP Season 70 on Studio23 and let’s see what Simon is really made of. He wouldn’t be declared as declared UAAP Juniors Most Valuable Player for nothing. Animo La Salle!
