Joevince Canizares: One Of Cebu’s Finest Models

This is my second post on Joevince Canizares (Click Here for the first post) Jose Vicente “Joevince” Rodriguez Canizares, the popular Filipino model who hails from Cebu, reportedly, has recently uprooted himself from the Philippines to start his modeling life anew in Singapore. His incredibly handsome face and perfectly sculpted physique has been a passport for him to land modeling jobs in the Lion City. This hunk’s seemingly perfect genes are attributable to his Filipino and Spanish ancestry (stemming from both sides of his family tree), like most Cebuanos in high society. He is again a living proof that the Asian-European mixes produce the hottest looking individuals ever to walk this planet. Earlier this year, he joined the Century Tuna Superbods competition hoping to bag the P500,000 modelling contract from the Tuna brand. However, despite his 6 years of runway and print & tv commercial modeling experience, he failed to bring home the grand prize (virtually inexperienced model and Golden Stags forward Ram Sagad won in the competition). Could his unexpected, not to mention upsetting, defeat in the competition have influenced his decision to leave the Philippines for an international modeling career? I don’t think so. As a model, he’s used to rejection and this is just like one go-see he failed to nail. He is no stranger to the international fashion scene and I know he will do good in Singapore. Goodluck to you Joevince, may you follow the footsteps of Rocky, Brent, Mike and all of the other Filipino models who have made it big internationally and have made our country proud. This University of San Carlos graduate is, aside from dried mangoes, one of Cebu’s finest exports to the world. |

cebuanos are hot! joevince has a brother named joefrance, who also models partime in cebu and equally hot as Joevince. He is one of the head engineers in waterfront hotel lahug(where i met him personally). his younger brother jeremy, models too, but not really as hot as his older bros. hope you could post some of their pics here. and i agree with lina morales, he totally could compete with brazilian models. though i find him more like a brandon routh look alike, which is not bad at all, because brandon is hot hot meat!

yes yes. he can compete with the brazilian boys which makes him even harder to break the overseas market… kasi nga ko-compete niya ang mga brazilians. calcarrie model pa ba siya? magkaibigan daw sila ni Rocky S at ni Brent Chua (na calcarrie model din).

Mercator na sya ngayon under Jonas G. Di pa naman sya ganun ka-laos. May sumpa lang yata ang mga Penshoppe models, nawawalan ng career (nawalan na ng ningning sina Jericho, Heart, Victor, Einar, Vicky, etc.)!
May Nescafe TVC si Vince na nag e-air ngayon (umuulan, na may hawak syang kape at may nakabangga syang girl). Abangan ang lalabas na Greenwich TVC nya with a female Brazilian model. Cute.

cute sya noon, ngayon ang lafad na ng fezlak parang manas.Buti nasa Mercator na sya para ma book naman. Di ko lang feel yung manager nya ngayon nega din. sana mag artista na sya parang mas click sya dun kaso nega nga atitude nito so majojokray lang sya wala na agad carreer di pa man sumisikat.

He’s a cousin of mine and he’s not an addict. Hambogero pero may ipagmamayabang naman. Hindi xa laos and in fact, in demand xa sa philippines.. but when he tried going to singapore, he realized that it was way much better there, so he transferred.. And so did the other mixed-breeed models.:P He doesn’t have an attitude problem. When you’re a model, you have to take care of your dignity as well cause you have principles you must stand up for. So standing up to keep ur dignity may sometimes offend your superiors.. You can’t always strip naked if you they tell you to do so, even if the business you’re in requires you to do so. People have rights, and those that couldn’t understand that some people have their own principles, would always say something negative..cause they didn’t get what they want.
