This is my second post on Gabz del Rosario (Click Here for the first post)

Gabz del Rosario, one of the less-prominent members of the pack of bump-and-grinders, the Men of Provoq. Although not as popular as my favorites Johnron Tanada and Harry Chua, he has proven to a worthy addition to the group. He is one of the guys who has already amassed quite a large fanbase since he started with the group. It seems that each member caters to the diverse tastes of the Filipino audience.

This former Mr. Kouros 2004 contestant’s fanbase has been on a steady rise since he lost all the baby fats (compare recent pics with his promo pics for the launch of Provoq). It seems that he has been concentrating really hard in working out and keeping himself in shape these days to avoid going the way of their predecessors, the Viva Hotmen.

At the Cruise post-show meet and greet session, I was surprised to see that despite their daring performances on stage, some of these guys are quite bashful and not used to their celebrity-status - Gabz is one of them. He doesn’t talk much unlike Niko Arellano who was always playful and full of energy. Nonetheless, he was accommodating and was always smiling and ready to pose for the cameras of the fans who would want to get their pictures taken with him.

The Cruise show is said to be going on international runs in the near future. While their fans from other countries are waiting for them, I think VIVA should hold shows for them in key cities within the Philippines to keep their careers afloat.
