Style Eye Catchers Model Search: So, Do You Want To Be A Model?

Style Eye Catchers Model Search’s main purpose is to promote Style Magazine, a new, glossy, fashion and lifestyle magazine for both men and women. For its screenings, Style has visited the country’s top universities (UP Diliman, CSB, DLSU Manila) to screen model-wannabes who have what it takes, physically and mentally, to best represent Style. Contestants at the semi-final level (called a “leg”) have enjoyed TV & radio guestings, and exclusive invites to Style’s parties & events. Past judges at the semi final level include designers Avel Bacudio, Ino Caluza, Fanny Serrano, Mich Dulce, & Rhett Eala; models Brad Murdoch, Chris Pettersson, Johan Ekedum, Luke Jickain, Carlo Adorador & Raphael Kiefer; photographer Frank Hoefsmit; and directors Don Cuaresma (ABS-CBN), RS Francisco (TV commercials) and Manny Castaneda among many many others. The winners of each leg automatically compete at the grand finals for Style Magazine’s cover photoshoot. Update: Cris Lomotan, JM, PJ, and Raj were originally set to compete at Leg 8/Season 2, but the 4 of them were moved to the Grand Finals of Season 1 where Cris won. The ones who were left behind in Leg 8 (Mehrdad, Jude, Louie, etc.) will still be competing on October for a spot at the Grand Finals of Season 2. Right now, screenings are ongoing for Leg 9.
