William Devaughn: Out To Win Our Hearts

This is my second post on William Devaughn (Click Here for the first post) In last night’s Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2’s Red Carpet Premiere, William Devaughn was escorted by PBB host Bianca Gonzales inside the PBB House as the first male housemate to enter its doors this season. His video introduction teaser decribed him as a hunk with a dark past. Despite his celebrity status, we got to know that life has been quite tough on Will: As if it is not difficult enough to be raised by a single-mother; his life turned up for the worse when his mother remarried and he had an alcoholic for a step-dad. Although he doesn’t bear any grudges against his step-dad, he just recognized the fact that he has to live his life independently early on. He set out for the Philippines to follow his lady love just to get his heart broken twice by the same girl. However, his trip here wasn’t totally futile because he fell in love with the country and its people. Now, the self-confessed “true lover” considers the Philippines as his second home. Joining Will in his first night in the PBB house are: GMA7’s Starstruck finalist Megan Young; Ms. Earth-Canada’s Riza Santos, Davao-based comedian Ruben Gonzaga; Model-turned Actor/VJ Victor Basa; Young star from the 1980s Yayo Aguila; Controversial Actor Baron Geisler (with his Taekwondo champ brother Donald Geisler); Kapamilya Deal or No Deal’s 26K girls Marylaine Viernes and Jen Da Silva. Four other housemates rounding up the final group (according to www.pep.ph) are: Fil-Brit Model Jon Mullally; dethroned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific Zarah Aldana; former member of the disbanded group Orange & Lemons Macoy Fundales; and a still undisclosed female personality who’s into extreme sports – according to some sources it’s racer/tv host Gabby dela Merced. Other potential (read: replacement) housemate names surfacing are those of bimbo actress/tv host Ethel Booba, Fil-Brit beefcake Andrew Wolff and midget comedienne Mahal. This unique mix of personalities is surely going to spice up our weeknights for two months. Is Victor Basa going to be the next Rustom Padilla? Is Baron Geisler going to recover from his wild ways? i know i’ve only met & hung out with him like only once, but, he’s a nice, down-to-Earth guy with none of the airhead attitude. he’s got this way of talking to you like you’re the only person in the room. hope this is his big break. ^_^

hes not my type. d ko alam kung bakit maraming patay na patay sa guy na to. the size of his head is not bagay to his lean body. well kanya kanayng taste lang yan. pero wala tlga syang appeal sakin promise.

i don’t think you can compare WILL with VICTOR!
WILL is hot, victor is not.
WILL’s nose is perfect, victor’s is hideous!
WILL’s lips are luscious, victor’s are like barbra streisand’s.
WILL is everything victor is not!
duh?! dear, watch PBB and you’ll see how ugly victor is, especially when he’s next to WILL, or to john.
i’m sorry, but WILL is not in the same league as victor.

me too. i didn’t like hime before, but after watching him nonstop on pbb livestream, i got to like him, and maybe fall for him. he has a wacky kind of humor, very masculine, very earthy. go will!
