Following the successful run of the film, other projects were offered to this Part-Irish actor. He was considered to play the role of Dodong (as an alternate to Arnold Reyes) in the musical play Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah. Janvier, who incidentally can carry a tune, was more than elated about this news. He grabbed the offer right away and was set to rehearse with the show’s cast in no time. Being an novice in the field of acting and singing, he made a less than stellar performance in the musical, according to reports. Nonetheless, he gave it much effort and that in itself is commendable.

There is not much news about Janvier as of late except that he is the new flame of comedienne Ethel Booba and that he is linked with the latter’s last-minute backing out from being one of the housemates in the latest PBB Celebrity Edition. And this is the reason: Jobert Sucaldito, of dzMM’s Showbiz Mismo, relates that Janvier’s relationship with Ethel is on the rocks due to the latter’s inconsiderate attitude towards the former’s privacy. The negriscent hunk claims that Ethel’s friends have an easy access to their love nest – even when he is asleep in his birthday suit, her friends can freely roam around their room. Allegedly, what caught his ire was the fact that one of Ethel’s gay friends took pictures of him while in the buff and had these shots circulated over the internet. Due to this, Janvier threatened to break up with the comedienne which caused the latter to not accept the PBB offer so that she can place him under her tight security and assure herself that he will not leave her.

If you may remember, Ethel was a victim of a cellphone-related controversy a few years back when she and her then boyfriend, Alex Crisano, were still in each others’ arms. Alex recorded a video of her in a very compromising situation and accidentally had this circulated all over the Metro.

Is this Ethel’s way of getting even? (but why with Janvier?) Or could this be a gimmick for Janvier’s movie Roxxxanne (which incidentally revolves around the theme of cellphone scandals)?
