After deciding to show a bit more skin in the digital movie entitled “Casa”, it seems that Paolo Paraiso’s career is taking off as he wanted it to. In the middle of 2007, the hunk actor was convinced to do the said movie which entailed hot scenes between him and the female lead, Asia Agcaoili. Paolo said that he was enthusiastic about doing the digital film because of the good exposure it would give him. And true enough it gave him a good exposure literally and figuratively.

Soon after the filming of the indie flick, he was signed in by GMA7 and was given meatier roles in its shows. Aside from that, he has been given a chance to be featured again as one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 10 Most Eligible Bachelors of 2007. Currently, Paolo may be seen in the big screen as one of the supporting male actors in the Manila Film Festival entry, “Banal” where he appears alongside Christopher de Leon, Alfred Vargas and Paolo Contis. Paolo exclaims that this is his biggest role to date. Incidentally, “Banal” was directed by another GMA7 talent, reporter-turned-greenhorn-film-director Cesar Apolinario.

However, the lucky streak in his career hasn’t ended yet. 2008 is going to be a busy year for the hunk model-turned-actor. Soon, he is set to film a movie, entitled “Ate”, with real life sisters, Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes. He is also a part of the cast of the Valentine offering of GMA Films which will launch the onscreen team up of two of the hottest sensations from the Kapuso Network, Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez.
