I know this post is a bit late, but I want to post it anyway…

Another overseas Pinoy, Austrian-born Vincent Bueno, brings pride to the Philippines by winning the grand prize in Austria’s reality show, “Musical! Die Show”. In the competition which is claimed to be much tougher than American Idol, the contestants were required to sing, dance and act as if each round of eliminations is in itself a mini-musical. And Vince proved to be excellent in all those fields earning him the right to be declared the grand prize winner in the show.

I would like to share to a video of his performance (with Eva Klikovics) of the song “Boote in der Nacht” (Boats in the Night). Honestly, this is the first time that I have seen a performance of a song which I barely understood that gave me goosebumps. This only goes to show that music really transcends language barriers. Vince’s (and Eva’s) rendition of the song featured in the video below is nothing less than superb.
