It seems that John Estrada never learned his lesson from the General Santos City airport experience he had last year as he got arrested anew at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last March 20, 2008. However, this time, the source of his woes was not a “bomb joke” but 15 bullets and a magazine for a Gloc handgun stuffed inside his backpack which were discovered upon his passing through the x-ray machine at the terminal.

On Holy Thursday, John Estrada was on his way to Kuala Lumpur via Malaysian Airlines with his girlfriend Priscilla Meirelles, his best bud Richard Gomez and the latter’s wife Lucy and daughter Juliana to watch the Malaysia Formula One Grand Prix when he was arrested by the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group for allegedly illegally possessing the aformentioned rounds of ammunition.

According to reports, John failed to furnish the necessary documentation as to how he got hold of these rounds of ammunition. To elude incarceration, he admitted to having committed an “honest mistake” and was able to get onboard the next flight going to Kuala Lumpur the following day.
