Some conservative groups are allegedly considering Dingdong Dantes‘ new billboards along EDSA-Guadalupe and Balintawak as inappropriate; and are said to be petitioning for their removal. When told about this issue, Dingdong said that he has heard about it and he is quite surprised that it got this response. However, he added that if there is any truth to this matter, he cannot do anything about it as he is just a model for the ad campaign. However, he still believes that the photographs were done in good taste.

If the plans to take down these billboards were indeed going to push through, Dingdong admits that it is beyond his control. He, nevertheless, finds consolation out of this – at least he was able to trim down in preparation for the pictorial.

Dingdong’s toned and tanned appearance was put into good use when he played the role of Sergio Santibanez in the recently concluded top-rating GMA7 series, “Marimar”. Definitely, he could utilize this adonis-like physique again when he starts taping for “Dyesebel” where he is cast as “Fredo”, the main character’s love interest.
