This shoot is my first attempt at “professional” photography. I would like to thank Harvey Cruz for allowing himself to be my very first subject in my foray into this field. Thanks — When I first saw the pictures of this model, I knew that he had a lot of potential. Standing at 6’2″ and with amazing proportions, Harvey could be in the pages of several fashion magazines and in the ramp of Manila’s top fashion shows in no time. He possesses the unique Filipino look which sets him apart from the typical mestizo model mould. True enough, soon after I stumbled upon his profile in a website, he was invited to grace the pages of Manifesto Magazine, with his pictorial being done by no less than Doc Marlon Pecjo (Click Here for the pics from that shoot). As for his work ethics, this guy is very professional. He came to the shoot on time and prepared to do all sorts of poses to get perfect shots. It is also noteworthy to mention that he brought his own set of great-looking wardrobe which helped us capture him as he changed his look from formal to casual. As you can see in the pictures from his shoot, he can transition from formal to casual to sensual in just a snap of a finger. With just a change of hairstyle, clothes and demeanor, he could be an executive, a boy next door or a hunk. In other words, he has very versatile look – a quality which every model should possess. Harvey is definitely a great addition to the Raven Models family. I think the people behind the successful modeling agency saw the same qualities which we see in him. We all think you have all the makings of a model, Harvey. Just persevere and very soon you’ll land in the top modeling destinations in the world. (No editing was done on these pics)
