Alfred Vargas on taking on a challenging role

After being sorely missed in the teleserye scene (his last role in “Sine Novela Presents: My Only Love” being a forgettable one), Alfred Vargas returns via GMA7’s much awaited and most talked-about upcoming series, “Dyesebel”. In the fantaserye, Alfred will play a merman who, according to reports, will be Marian Rivera’s love interest before she meets Dingdong Dantes’ character. As a merman, he is required to do underwater scenes while wearing prosthetic fins. In preparation for this daunting task, he is taking lessons under swimming instructor Louie Barrios together with lead star Marian Rivera and co-stars Michelle Madrigal and Paolo Ballesteros. The determined Alfred will surely do everything to learn the proper swimming techniques in order to execute the underwater scenes well. This will be Alfred’s next big exposure after having been given significant roles in GMA7’s phenomenal teleserye epic, “Encantadia”. |
