Bruce Quebral on his transition into being an actor

Pinoy Big Brother Season 2’s Basketball Hunk Bruce Quebral was recently added to the powerhouse cast of the Jake Cuenca-led teleserye “Palos”. In the action-serye, he plays the role of Luciano, a prisoner who would help Alessandro (Jomari Yllana) escape incarceration so the latter could wreak havoc on the secret agency he formerly headed. This would be Bruce’s biggest starring role to date, and as a “kontrabida” at that. This television series is proof that Bruce has successfully transitioned from being a model into an actor. He is very effective as a villain thanks to his very masculine look and expressive eyes; however, I think he has to work on his speech because he tends to stutter sometimes. Despite his big break as an actor, I believe we would not see Bruce leaving modeling anytime soon as he is still very much visible in Bench ad campaigns. Although, his appearance in “Palos” would serve as a vehicle for him to get noticed and be given more acting projects. |
