Former PBB Celebrity Edition 1 housemate Zanjoe Marudo’s name has been dragged into an issue involving him, Mariel Rodriguez and fellow Bench model Jon Mullally (aka Jon Avila). In a recent interview, Jon revealed that he stopped pursuing Mariel when he learned that she is already in a committed relationship with the moreno hunk. If you may remember, the Fil-Brit Hunk and the Pinoy Big Brother host were an item while the two were inside the PBB house. This scoop from Jon confirms the rumors that Mariel and Zanjoe are indeed a couple despite their keeping mum about the whole issue.

Could this revelation have any effect on Zanjoe’s career? Definitely not! As a matter of fact, he will be a part of several ABS-CBN shows lined up for this year, these are: “Parekoy”, “Sineserye Presents The Susan Roces Cinema Collection: Florinda” and “The Wedding”. And recently, he has been made one of the celebrity endorsers of Head and Shoulders shampoo with rumored girlfriend Mariel.

And for another revelation - this hunk actually can carry a tune. In fact, Zanjoe is a part of a band of hunks aptly named “Coverboys Plus” comprised of Rafael Rossel, Victor Basa, Jon Mullally, Ron Morales, Marvin Wijangco, William Devaughn, John James Uy and Jake Cuenca. The group can be seen regularly performing at the ASAP ‘08 stage every Sunday.
