Ronnie Liang just gives out a smile whenever he is asked about rumors that he has a rich gay benefactor. This issue arose when the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 second runner up bought for himself a new car and purchased a residential lot in Angeles, Pampanga. However, Ronnie vehemently denies said allegation and just dismisses it by saying that most showbiz newbies are hounded by the same intrigues.
