Reports have been surfacing that Diether Ocampo will be doing what his Star Circle batchmate, Marvin Agustin, did over a year ago – transfer to the Kapuso network in the hopes of resurrecting his ailing career. However, in one interview, he denied said rumors; but admitted that GMA7 has indeed been sending feelers to Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management agency which handling his career right now, for him to do some shows with them. Despite this, he said that his loyalty remains with Star Magic, although he is flattered by ABS-CBN’s rival network’s gesture.

In a commentary, it was said that the Kapamilya network has taken good care of Diether and he has constantly been given projects – his last one being in the kiddie series, “Princess Sarah”. We will soon see Diether on the small screens again as he reprises the role played by Dante Rivero in the tv adaptation of the movie, “Maligno”. In the four-week long series, he will star opposite Claudine Barretto and Rafael Rossel.

The confirmations, nonetheless, are not enough to dismiss rumors of his impending transfer.
