Rafael Rossel has been talk of the town lately due to a risque act of exposing his behind in a scene for the upcoming television show, “Maligno”. This unprecedented move has sparked outrage from conservative Filipino groups who allegedly petitioned MTRCB to order ABS-CBN to sanitize the said scene. And MTRCB succumbed to these requests.

We will never get to see the controversial scene as the MTRCB disallowed its airing. It suggested the director to blur the offensive exposures to merit the Board’s approval for broadcast. In an interview, Rafael expressed his disappointment about this scene getting sanitized. He said that these recommendations would lessen the impact of the scene because this is an integral part of the story as this is where Rafael, as the devil, employs force in planting his seed of darkness in the womb of Claudine Barretto’s character.

I guess we just have to wait for the DVD uncut version of the mini-series to have Rafael’s moons in full view. “Maligno” starts airing on April 28, 2008 after PBB Teen Edition Plus.
