Coverboys: Uncovered At The Music Museum
|
Jake Cuenca, Rafael Rossel, Zanjoe Marudo, Jon Avila, Victor Basa, Ron Morales, Will Devaughn, John James Uy and Marvin Raymundo, collectively known as The Coverboys, set the temperatures rising at the Music Museum on May 9 and 10 as they staged their first major concert. This is the first time that this band of hunks, which was formed in the show ASAP ’08, performed on a concert stage apart from their regular performances in their Sunday show. In their opening number, the all-male group sang to sensual tunes such as “Sexy Back”, “Hot In Here” and “Lick It” while gyrating to the beat. Adding to the sexiness was the point where the boys dared to do a shower scene on stage. The finale of the show showcased the boys singing “Sunglasses At Night” while wearing white bathrobes which they removed towards the end of the song revealing that they were only wearing trunks underneath eliciting the cheers and howls from the members of the audience. The show was not lewd nor offensive – it was done it good taste. And basing on the audience turn out, it was a resounding success. According to reports, there are plans to take the Coverboys on a US Tour starting July of this year. “Coverboys: Uncovered” was produced by ASAP Live and MJM Productions. |
