An insider from Bodyshots 2008 informed me earlier on that two of the male contestants backed out from the competition, and these are Harold Oide and Charlston Yam. Due to this, the organizers decided to fill in the vacant slots by inviting two other hopefuls, Kris Melendrez and Mark Lester Yutuc, in the lineup.

However, as the competition progressed, two other male models were rumored to have caused new vacancies in the list of contestants. This time they didn’t back out, they were disqualified due to bad behavior (read: not showing up for competition activities). These are Eric Eleazar and Sassan Shokouhi. Too bad, because the two have already been touted as “placers” in the tilt being the “experienced” models in the bunch. With these developments, the number of male contestants has been trimmed to 15. Here is the final list of candidates: Bjorn Aguilar, Raph Almeda, Jonas Cabuay, Arman Cataga, Harvey Cruz, Robert de Claro, Nico Deyro, , Dart Kamboozia, Kris Melendrez, Marvin Miranda, Chris Ong-Hay, Ian Leonel Porlayagan, Adrian Racho, Jobo Roa, Sadatsugu Suzuki, Mark Lester Yutuc and Mario Zamboni

Supporters of Sassan and Eric, don’t fret. Instead of not casting your votes in the Online Poll due to the disqualification of your competition bets, why not cast them in favor of Raph Almeda who, unlike the two disqualified candidates, has been religiously attending in the model tilt’s activities and is very determined to win. I assure you, your votes will not go to waste.
