Coco Martin on exposing his family jewels on film

Coco Martin recently became the subject of a controversy when his indie film, Serbis, had its screening at the 61st Cannes Film Festival in France. The movie was given mostly positive reviews by international film critics. However, what became talk among local showbiz folk was Noel Ferrer’s (Coco’s manager) apparent expression of disappointment over a particular scene shown in the movie. Ferrer even termed director Brillante “Dante” Mendoza’s (director of Serbis) act of allowing a frontal exposure of Coco’s family jewels in the movie as a “breach of trust”. Ferrer, in an interview, explained that Coco wasn’t willing to do the scene from the start but merely agreed to do the scene because he trusts the movie’s director having worked with him several times in the past. Despite all these, however, Mendoza assured Ferrer that the director’s cut version of the movie (featuring the controversial scene) will not be shown in Philippine theaters. Currently, Coco Martin can be seen in the Roxanne Guinoo-led soap opera “Ligaw Na Bulaklak”, airing on ABS-CBN during weekdays after Wowowee. |

Whats wrong if that directors cut or what you call controversial scene shown here in the Philippines. Marami ng gumagawa niyan kung hindi nga lang nawala sa circulation si Leonardo Litton baka wala silang lahat diyan.

Well… if that scene was done in good taste… what’s wrong with it!!!
Hollywood actors are doing it! We are now in a generation wherein artistry in the film industry especially in the Philippines should take into a consideration.
Coco Martin is one of the finest actor today… I admire him. I’m expecting for more roles for him like this one. More power Coco!!!

di ko alam kung papanong breach of trust ito, ito lang ang kwento ko o opinion dito.Nung gabi na pinalabas ang Jay sa cinemalaya sa ccp, kasama namin c coco at biruan pa sa grupo namin ang kanyang nasabing dick esposure.sabi pa namin kailangan pag pinalabas yan sa up eh sabay sabay tyong manuod.ako mismo tinanong ko sya sabi ko kung kelan ang palabas sabi nya pinalabas na daw pero hinde umingay.dadalhin daw na ito sa international pero ipapalabas ulit pag balik sa pinas.hinde lang nya alam kung cut or uncut ang pelikula dito.ang breach of trust lang sa tingin ko dito eh yung pag palabas nga ng naturang eksena, pero bakit open c coco dito? at nabiro pa namin sya tungkol dito.
