ETC Chillspot host Kenny Waymack has gone a long way since running away with a third place finish at ABS-CBN and Unilever’s reality show cum toothpaste brand endorser search, Close Up to Fame 2. Immediately after the reality show, he was able to do some commercials which required him to flash his pearly white smile and showcase his gymnastics skills.

What really gave Kenny the opportunity to shine, however, was his winning the “Sam Meets Boy” competition organized by lifestyle channel ETC to find the male counterpart of Sam Oh in the channel’s then popular lifestyle show “Rated Oh!”. Upon Sam Oh’s transfer to GMA7’s sister station, QTV-11, to be one of the hosts of its own lifestyle show, “Living It Up”, Kenny was left at the helm of ETC’s homegrown show. Said show was soon reorganized with a new name and a new host. On board was called another host who could equal Kenny’s wit and charm – Brent Javier’s girlfriend, Karen Pamintuan.

At present, the twosome of Kenny Waymack and Karen Pamintuan are having a grand time hosting their show “Chillspot” which is aired on ETC over at SBN 21. Catch the two as they feature some of the best restos in metro, best places to visit and the newest products to try out on “Chillspot” airing every Sunday at 8:00pm with replays on Saturdays at 2:30pm, Thursdays at 4:00pm, Tuesdays at 8:30am, Mondays at 1:00pm and at 7:00pm only on ETC.
