Joem Bascon: A Cut Above The Rest
|
Joem Bascon was recently named the latest male celebrity endorser of one of the most dynamic and promising fashion forward apparel brands in the country, F and H / Folded & Hung. Joem joins Maja Salvador and Angel Locsin in lending their names and credibility to the brand which in just a few short years has become one of the leading clothing companies in the Philippines. Since Joem’s introduction into showbiz via ABS-CBN’s teen-oriented sitcom, “Let’s Go”, he has been getting praises for his comedic talent and amazing registry on screen. Thus, when said sitcom folded up and a replacement sitcom got in the works, his character was carried over into the revamped version of “Let’s Go” entitled “GoKada” where he got to star with other male heartthrobs Gerald Anderson and Matteo Guidicelli. His skills in dramatic acting was challenged in the movie “Batanes” where he passed with flying colors. He was then cast in the Piolo Pascual-Claudine Barretto-led soap opera “Walang Kapalit” where he showcased more of his acting prowess. He also tried getting into horror via the teleserye “Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara.” Currently, he can be seen in the daytime teleserye “Ligaw Na Bulaklak” and the independent film “Adela”. Very soon, we will get to see Joem back in his element – comedic acting – as he is cast as “Mario” in the upcoming Filipino adaptation of the Colombian hit series, “Betty La Fea” (the US version of which is “Ugly Betty”). He is also currently filming “Kalayaan”, an independent film about the portion of the Spratly group of islands which is being claimed by the Philippines, with popular Thai actor Ananda Everingham. Joem was chosen to represent F and H / Folded & Hung because the company believes that he is one of the newest upcoming leading men of the country and that he will be one of the more important movie actors in the future. His rugged boy-next-door looks sets him apart from the clean-cut matinee idols of Philippine showbiz today. His image reflects a kind of angelic innocence contrasted by raw sexiness and a very masculine flair. He is the epitome of an F and H man, always sexy never ordinary, a cut above the rest. |

He’s gorgeous but he has to get rid of that facial hair. He looks old and dirty.

Joem is a treasure. Guapo na, down-to-earth pa. Tara spar tayo sa ring, pare. Boksingero din ako. Mahilig ako mag-lock ng grip. :-)
