During the last Bench Denim and Underwear show two years ago, Wendell Ramos had a grand entrance. While wearing only Bench underwear and a cape, he traversed from one end of the Big Dome to centerstage. All of the spectators were in awe at the boldness of Wendell to pull off such a stunt, and while clad in just a little more than his birthday suit, at that. And he didn’t stop there. While he paraded the catwalk, he mooned the audience with his flawless behind which got the female and even some male audience members weak in the knees.

However, this year, not much has been reported about Wendell’s appearance in the show. Has he lost his steam? It seems that people are much more interested in seeing how far their favorite ABS-CBN and GMA7 matinee idols would go to strut their stuff on the ramp. Well, who could blame them? The sight of the buffed Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual are really sights for sore eyes. But, regardless, Wendell has already made a mark during his reign as the Bench main man. I guess it’s time for other guys to shine.
