One of Bench clothing’s more popular, if not its most popular, endorsers, Piolo Pascual, suprised the crowd at the Experience Blackout show by snubbing the biennial event. Although, it was reported that Dingdong Dantes was going to be in the opening segment, Richard Gutierrez was to walk the ramp somewhere in the middle and Piolo Pascual was going to be the show’s finale, it did not push through as planned. Instead, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson opened the show with the Abi Goy segment; Rafael Rossel‘s daring gimmick commenced the Jun de Leon segment; Mexican-American model Martin Richard led the Raymond Red segment; the Lesley Mobo viagra buying online segment went along as initiated by the slew of male models wearing skin-toned thongs; and the finale segment was launched by Dingdong Dantes’ drop-trou act.

Although his absence did not go unnoticed, the models and celebrities who were present more than compensated for whatever Piolo’s star power could have brought to the show. Several rumors have been circulating as to the real reason why Piolo failed to appear in the Bench show despite the clothing brand’s full support for his career. He became a Bench endorser in the middle of 2007 and has been given hosting stints in Be Bench: The Model Search on ABS-CBN and Be Bench: Beyond 20 Grand Finals Night, soon thereafter. What sanction could Piolo’s disregard for one of the most important shows for Bench result to? I hope this issue between Mr. Ben Chan and Piolo Pascual could still be settled amicably.
