Sadatsugu Suzuki: One Of Japan’s Rising Sons

Hair Color: Black Sadatsugu Suzuki, better known to his friends as “Piko” or “Zuki”, is a 20-year old student of BS Criminology at Emilio Aguinaldo College – Manila (EAC). This half-Filipino, half-Japanese hottie juggles his life as a student and a part-time model and is enjoying every minute of it. Zuki grew up in Japan and was schooled there for his primary and secondary education but upon getting into college, he transferred to Manila. Although relatively new to Manila, he has easily acclimatized himself to the life in the Philippine capital as he has been visiting his mother’s homeland since he was young. Zuki was discovered by a schoolmate in EAC and was referred to his current manager to get into modeling. To date, he has joined personality searches such as Club Mafia Hunks, Summer Bodies and Hataw Superbodies Bikini Open (the last contest he had to back out from due to his becoming a finalist at one of the most prestigious model searches in the country, Bodyshots). His entry into the Bodyshots 2008 batch was not surprising. Zuki’s tall frame and exotic Japanese-Filipino mix of features made him standout from among the bunch of male hopefuls. The popular model search has been looking for fresh faces who would rule the runways in future Philippine fashion shows – and Zuki is touted to be one of them. Although he did not win any of the prizes in Bodyshots, his exposure in the competition easily got him modeling stints. It got him fashion shows for Aficionado and other fashion brands. He was also given a coveted spot to walk the ramp for Experience: Blackout where he was reunited with fellow Bodyshots finalists Harvey Cruz, Chris Ong-Hay, Marvin Miranda and Mario Lee Zamboni. Zuki is slowly getting the recognition he deserves. I am sure he will make his mark in the modeling industry soon. |
