John Hall on being out of semi-retirement
|
As you may remember, John Hall was one of the first few endorsers of Bench’s line of undergarments, Bench Body. Thus, although already in semi-retirement from modeling, he readily agreed to walk the ramp for this year’s Bench Denim and Underwear show, Experience: Blackout. At present, this hunk is based in Cebu, where he is originally from. He, however, shuffles in and out of Manila whenever modeling projects and other offers tickle his fancy. The most recent offer he got interested in is a role in the independently-produced film entitled “Fidel” which also stars singer-actor Lance Raymundo. “Fidel” is a loose adaptation of a true-to-life viagra without prescription story which involves an OFW who is currently in death row somewhere in the Middle East for taking the life of his employer. John’s performance in this movie could be considered his most daring, to date. In a particular scene, the two male leads had no qualms about being in the buff – it was where John’s character forces himself upon Lance’s character. The movie’s director, Elwood Perez, gave the scene an artistic treatment and it turned out to be a realistic portrayal of what happened to the OFW. No playdate for the said movie is set as of this time, but rest assured that I will post it as soon as I get word on its screening schedules. |
