Eric Akhnaton Eleazar’s claim to fame was his series of commercials for KFC aired several years back. The series of commercials made him an instant celebrity. Offers for more tv commercials, print ads and movies started pouring in. However, after a sudden twist of fate, his career took a downward spiral and he was thrown to obscurity immediately.

Earlier this year, Eric decided to resurrect his ailing career. He went to the screening for Bodyshots 2008. His height and goodlooks easily made him a finalist in the model tilt. However, due to his failure to show up for the competition’s activities, the organizers removed him from the shortlist of male candidates.

His having been included in the male finalists of Bodyshots 2008 was, however, enough to make his presence felt in the industry again. He breezed through the rigorous Bench go sees and was able to parade the Araneta Coliseum stage at the recent Experience: Blackout fashion show.

Eric is definitely back in the limelight. He is very fortunate to have been given a second lease in life. I hope he takes care of his career this time and grab every opportunity to better his craft so he could establish his name and withstand the advent of younger and fresher faces in the modeling world.
