Sam Milby on proving to be more than just a matinee idol
|
The Department of Education (DepEd) chose one of ABS-CBN’s hottest stars, Sam Milby, to be this year’s spokesperson and role model for the 6th National Leadership Training for Student Government Officers (NLTSGO) which is currently ongoing in Baguio City. This year, the annual gathering of highschool students, who have been elected to the Supreme Student Councils of their respective schools, aims to develop and integrate a school-based peer counseling program that will aid in making schools across the nation more conducive learning environments. And Sam was handpicked by DepEd to relay the message to those attending the five-day seminar. Sam took time out from his busy schedule, taping for the teleserye “Dyosa” and his upcoming indie film “Cul de Sac”, to take on the responsbility given him by the Philippines’ Education Department. Sam is really proud to have been recognized as a role model for the youth. |

Congrats Samuel! Good luck and stay humble! I know you can do it, i believe in you. You’ve been the President during your HS in Ohio. And you’ve proven that you’re not just a handsome face, you’re very talented and good hearted person too.
