Following the box-office success of his movie with KC Concepcion, the next big project that would come Richard Gutierrez‘s way would be his playing the role of the masked rider, Zorro. According to reports, once GMA7 closes the book of Codename: Asero, Richard Gutierrez is set to wear the mask that made Antonio Banderas famous. In the series, Richard will be Don Diego de la Vega, a nobleman and a master swordsman. Once he dons a black mask together with his all-black ensemble, he becomes the sword-wielding hero, SeƱor Zorro, a masked outlaw who buy viagra pills defends the masses from tyrranical and oppressive characters. His trademark move is cutting a “Z” across the clothing of his foes and placing them into public humiliation. At present, Richard is taking fencing lessons in preparation for the role. This will be the seventh time that Richard played the main character in a primetime series, he played lead in six other shows, namely: Mulawin, Sugo, Captain Barbell, Lupin, Kamandag and Codename: Asero. Showbiz insiders surmised that the rights to this series were acquired from the Sony TV and Telemundo co-production entitled, Zorro: La Espada Y Rosa (Zorro: The Sword and The Rose), which was aired in the Philippines over at ABS-CBN a few seasons back. |
