Along with the close of the first season of ETC’s popular lifestyle show, Chillspot, came the letting go of one of its hosts, Kenny Waymack. Thus, a search for Kenny’s replacement was conducted. Personalities, ranging from models to disc jockeys to budding actors, came in droves to apply for the vacancy left by the Filipino-American hunk. Instead of just getting one new male host to complement the witty Karen Pamintuan, the Chillspot producers decided to get two (probably to avoid placing themselves in a predicament similar to what happened when Kenny left).

One was introduced last Sunday, the fourth RX 93.1′s Radio Idol-DJ Hunt winner, Gino Quillamor (who, personally speaking, seems rather bland and uninteresting).

The revelation of the other male host’s identity was saved for next Sunday. However, viewers were given the chance to take a bit of a peek of how this new host looks via a few video clips. They described him as a popular international model with an adventurous personality. And based on these clues, I was able to figure out who the new Chillspot host is – he is no other than Filipino-American model and sportsman, Rich Herrera.

This will be the first time that Rich would host a television show and Kenny’s are big shoes to fill. Let’s see how  these two guys fare in their hosting stint with the lifestyle show and see if they are indeed suitable replacements.
