One of the most handsome faces in Philippine showbiz, Geoff Eigenmann, was recently featured at Cosmopolitan Magazine’s September 2008 issue as one of the Ten Bachelor Centerfolds together with Jon Avila, Paolo Contis, Billy Crawford, Macky Escalona, Ron Morales, Bruce Quebral, Derek Ramsey, Akihiro Sato and Rocky Salumbides.

The young actor started out in the kiddie gag show, “Ang TV”, way back in 1992. He left showbiz and returned a decade later. His first appearance on television, after that long hiatus, is via an episode of GMA7’s “Love to Love”. Geoff, was then seen in a Globe Telecom ad in which he got noticed by ABS-CBN’s top honchos who groomed him to be one of their next matinee idols. He was immediately cast in the teleserye “Hiram”, where he was caught in a love triangle with Heart Evangelista and Anne Curtis. Following the success of this soap opera, several other projects came his way. However, he was merely banking on his goodlooks; his chubby exterior limited his roles. Offers started to dwindle and he became less visible in the big and small screens.

Geoff reinvented himself, he lost a considerable amount of weight and this got him noticed once again. He became an addition to the second season of the top-rated Angel Locsin-Piolo Pascual-led teleserye, “Lobo”. The more toned Geoff had no qualms baring his bod for the series and was commended for his transformation. Major underwear brand, Hanford, signed him up soon thereafter. He now joins Simon Atkins, Kirk Long, Chris Tiu and brothers James and Phil Younghusband, as one of the brand’s celebrity endorsers.

ABS-CBN executives again reconsidered Geoff’s matinee idol status and he is again back in the limelight. After “Lobo”, he hosted “Palmolive’s Shining Circle of Ten” with Iya Villania which was also aired on the Kapamilya network.
