This was what John Prats was quoted as saying when asked about his getting the title role for the upcoming superhero series, “Mars Ravelos’ Komiks Presents: Tiny Tony”, in the press conference for the show. After long years of waiting, the young actor finally gets the lead role for a series.

Tiny Tony is another superhero creation of the renowned Filipino comic book writer Mars Ravelo. In the comic book, Tony is a scientist who, while working on a formula to shrink things, was accidentally splashed with the experimental concoction to transform him into a pint-sized human. He soon discovers that despite shrinking in size, he retained his full-sized strength. This began the series of adventures and misadventures of the dimunitive superhero, Tiny Tony.

“Mars Ravelos’ Komiks Presents: Tiny Tony” also stars Coco Martin, Cathy Gonzaga, Mura, Susan Africa, Gerard Acao, among others. The show starts airing on October 11, 2008 replacing “Mars Ravelos’ Komiks Presents: Varga” in its early Saturday evening timeslot on ABS-CBN.
