Star Circle Quest Season 1 alumnus Joseph Bitangcol agrees to go daring for an independent film entitled “Walang Kawala”. In an interview, the 24-year old actor that there are a lot of firsts for him in this film – this is the first time he does a daring role, this is his first time to do an on-screen kiss and this is his first time to kiss another guy in a film or elsewhere. He relates that initially, he was hesitant to do the movie. However the film’s director, Joel Lamangan, convinced him by saying that he should learn to take risks in order to grow as an actor. He, thus, decided to take on the challenging role.

In the film, he plays the role of Waldo, a young and impulsive lover who engages in a romantic liaison with a married man, Joaquin (Polo Ravales). When the latter’s wife (Althea Vega) came back from her work as an Overseas Filipino Worker, he flees to Manila to leave the couple alone. After a month his married lover goes to Manila in search for him but gets entwined in a series of unfortunate events which would change their lives forever. The movie also stars Emilio Garcia, Jean Garcia and Marco Morales. The director’s cut version of the digital flick will have a special screening at the UP Cine Adarna on November 6, 2008. Its regular run in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao theaters will be on November 12.
