Polo Ravales on going back to playing support

After starring in lead roles for GMA7’s daytime soap opera, “SineNovela Presents: Maging Aking Ka Lamang”, and the upcoming digital flick, “Walang Kawala”, Polo Ravales goes back to playing a supporting role as he becomes the main villain in GMA7’s television adaptation of the famous Carlo J. Caparas comic book series, “Gagambino” topbilled by Dennis Trillo. In the fantaserye, Polo is Harold, the lead character’s cousin and childhood playmate who later on becomes his archnemesis. He attributes his sister’s death to Bino (Dennis Trillo) and intends to avenge her. He acquires a beetle’s powers of flight, strength and invincibility in his desire to destroy Bino. “Gagambino” airs on October 20, 2008, replacing “Dyesebel” in GMA7’s Telebabad primetime block. Meanwhile, the Polo Ravales-Joseph Bitangcol independent film starrer, “Walang Kawala” (which also stars Marco Morales) will have a special screening at the UP Cine Adarna on November 6, 2008. Its regular run in Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao theaters will be on November 12. |
