Andrew Eugenio: Waiting For That One Big Break
|
Hair Color: Black When he was younger, Andrew Eugenio entertained TV audiences by singing and dancing in the now defunct GMA7 noontime show, “Lunch Date”. His career, in the Philippine entertainment industry was, however, put to a halt upon his reaching the age of 7 when his family decided to migrate to the United States. In the US, his family chose to settle in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. It is in Chicago where Andrew spent most of his formative, adolescent and early adult years. There, he had his own apartment which was a stone’s throw away from the famous Wrigley Field, home of baseball’s Chicago Cubs. Although he wanted to go back into the industry which he loved the most, entertainment, his parents persuaded him to finish his college education first. Thus, he attended the Illinois Institute for Art to finish a degree in Media Arts. This opened doors for him in careers which involved Computer Animation, Graphic Design, Art Appreciation and the like. While in school, he pursued a career in entertainment on the side. He had cameo appearances in shows and movies like The Dark Knight, Baby On Board, Eagle Eye, Family Practice, and others. He was also featured in commercials for McDonald’s and Aquafina which were aired in mainland and territorial United States. When he finished school, he went into modeling full time. His most recent modeling stint took him to Thailand. And now, he’s back in the Philippines to fulfill his childhood ambition of becoming a popular actor. With less than a month of being back in Manila, he has done a TV commercial for Fern Slim, has done print ads for Smart Communications, has been featured in QTV 11’s “Living It Up” and has walked the ramp for F&H | Folded and Hung Streetcast Act 2. At present, Andrew is trying his luck in Manila once again. He wants to develop his singing and acting talents and get into different projects while in the country. He is waiting for that one big break which could propel him into stardom. |
