After the first season of Starstruck bid adieu to the small screen, Starstruck alumnus Dion has been given sporadic appearances and small roles on GMA7-produced shows and movies. He has appeared in television shows like “Sugo”, “Bakekang” and “Zaido” to name a few. He also starred in “Mulawin: The Movie”, “Happily Ever After” and others.

Late last year, GMA7 managment attempted to form a hot sing-and-dance boy group named “The Studs” which included Dion. They even launched a calendar. However, GMA7′s plan to replicate ABS-CBN’s “The Hunks” failed miserably. After this regrettable event in the career of the group’s members, they went on their separate ways and ventured into solo undertakings.
