Among the alumni of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2, only Jon Avila has made his mark in showbusiness and has been very visible since he got evicted. Aside from being an endorser for premier lifestyle brand, Bench, Jon has been given significant exposures in movies and television shows. His home network, ABS-CBN, gave him his own series, Kapitan Boom, a few months after his controversial eviction from the popular reality show. He has also been added to ASAP’s singing and dancing hunks, the Coverboys.

In the upcoming Metro Manila film festival, Jon Avila, will yet again grace the silverscreen as he is included in OctoArts Films’ official entry, “One Night Only” topbilled by Katrina Halili. One interesting piece of trivia is the fact that Jon will be running sans clothing for a scene in the said movie. That’s definitely one thing which his fans are likely to look forward to. This will be Jon’s third film, his first being the independent film “Nars” and his second, the Aga Muhlach-Anne Curtis flick, “When Love Begins”. It seems that there is nothing that could stop Jon Avila from making it to the top.
