Marvin Miranda: All The Right Opportunities
|
Hair Color: Black Prior to getting into modeling, Guiguinto, Bulacan-native Ron Marvin Miranda was a student at Colegio de San Juan de Letran taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. With his towering height and remarkable physique, he was encouraged to try modeling. As a model, he was able to land print ad and ushering projects. Realizing that it was a good way to make money, he tried to do it full time. Wanting to get more media mileage, he went to the screening for the recently resurrected modeling competition, Bodyshots 2008, and was fortunately selected as one of its finalists. He failed to bag the top prize, but the exposure in the competition was enough to get him noticed. While the Bodyshots competition was ongoing, fashion industry insiders have seen a lot of potential in this 6’1″-tall hunk. Thus, during its finals night, they awarded three special awards to Marvin, these are: Met Tathione Beautiful Skin – Male; Mr. Fashion Tourism and GAP Individual of the Night. He got the second highest number of special awards next to Bodyshots male grand winner Jobo Roa who got five. Since becoming a finalist for this year’s Bodyshots, 23-year old Marvin has been getting a lot of modeling assignments. He has appeared in Experience: Blackout for Bench; the pre-show for Cosmopolitan Magazine Bachelor Bash 2008; Streetcast Act 2 for Folded & Hung; Cosmopolitan; Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer Collection, among others. He has definitely gone a long way compared to his Bodyshots contemporaries. |
