The talk about Diether Ocampo‘s transfer is over. He finally decides to remain a Kapamilya, allegedly, due to prodding from Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm and the agency currently handling Diether’s career. During the trade launch for ABS-CBN’s newest lineup of shows for 2009, propecia online cheap Diether Ocampo’s pictures were flashed onscreen for two upcoming teleserye projects, these are “Buhay Ng Buhay Ko” (with Sam Milby and Anne Curtis) and the Philippine adaptation of the popular Mexican telenovela, “Rubi” (with Angelica Panganiban). This dispelled the transfer rumors confirmed by Ricky Lo in his column for the Philippine Star, November 19, 2008 issue. This also contradicts earlier reports that Diether has signed a four-year exclusive contract with the Kapuso network worth P35 million.

Sources reveal that Diether’s Kapamilya fans and up and coming Kapuso stars are elated with the news. The Kapamilya fans rejoice to the fact that they will still get to see the fine actor in ABS-CBN shows. Kapuso stars on the other hand are happy that Diether will not be competing with them for projects.

The role, which would have been Diether’s in the Philippine remake of the Koreanovela “All About Eve” had he transferred to GMA7, was reportedly handed over to a homegrown Kapuso talent. In “Rubi”, Diether would play the role of the architect Hector Ferrer Garza (popularized by Argentine actor Sebastián Rulli).
